This is a long shot, but unless someone is willing to get to
know me, we'll never know. I am an English widow in my 40s, 5'8".
Self-employed in horticulture and historical journalism. I am looking for a
mature, professional Sikh, tall, well-built and with kesh. He would have to
be confident and communicative and be able to look after my deeply hidden
emotional side, as I am a Scorpion by birth. I have old fashioned values,
but with a small streak of adventure, a young outlook on life, though often
quiet and shy. I have a great affinity for the Sikh family lifestyle and
culture and would be proud to stand by someone who is proud to show the
world who he is. I would like to change my religion to Sikh, I would
consider travel, but not be prepared to move away from the UK and my own
family. I want to share my life with someone able to learn with me. Someone
I would feel safe with. Someone I could respect, trust and love. I am asking
a lot, but after years of neglect, I know I have a lot to offer the right
man and I would be a very rewarding partner, even though I have a different
upbringing. Please talk to me.

Hi, this thing is harder to write than I thought ... so
please bear with me! I am a Canadian born and raised professionally employed
5’2” (yes good things come in small packages) jatti, who recently turned 30
(still trying to figure out if this is the beginning or the beginning of the
end..lol).
I am honest, adventurous and down to earth – don’t get me wrong, I like the
finer things in life (don’t we all??) but am not what people would consider
materialistic. I’m university educated, fun-loving, financially and
emotionally secure and looking for the same.
I enjoy doing all kinds of things – in door and out and I love trying new
things – I’m never one to back down because of fear of the unknown! In my
spare time you can find me… mmm actually that depends on my mood. I enjoy
“dressing up”, going out and chilling (but not into the bar scene) but am
also content with putting on my comfy jimmies and curling up with a special
someone to watch a movie on Saturday night.
I was married before and do have a child – the light of my life. If I sit
down and think about it…I think I’ve done pretty well for myself, I am more
fortunate than others I know but there is just one thing missing – someone
to share the joys and sorrows with (well hopefully not too many of
those …lol). I don’t think I need a man to complete my life and am not
looking for a hubby or “replacement daddy” for my child. I am looking for
someone to build and share a future with.
I would prefer someone that is confident, honest, decent and fun-loving with
a great sense of humour (and yes I am Canadian and it is spelled correctly,
eh lol). A guy who loves new and exciting things and tackles everything with
the same enthusiasm and zest for life that I do (well most things, except
laundry..lol). Someone who is serious when he has to be and silly because he
wants to be – and not overly sensitive because I have been known to be
sarcastically funny , but still with a big heart). My ideal match would be
someone who believes, like I do, that honesty and communication are the keys
to any successful relationship – business or personal and who is seeking a
partner – an equal – rather than someone to “decorate his arm”.
