Universal Guru Sangeet, The Dya
Singh Group itinerary follows. We have locked all ‘festivals’ and
wish to make contact with various Sikh communities to support this venture
of Gurbani Kirtan into the ‘mainstream’ AND also to help program more
appearances by the group.
YOU WILL BE PLEASED TO KNOW THAT :
DYA SINGH WAS RECENTLY AWARDED “MALE ARTISTE OF THE YEAR” BY
THE AUSTRALIAN WORLD MUSIC AWARDS ASSOCIATION (18 March 2000).
THE GROUP HAS ALSO BEEN AWARDED “BEST CONTRIBUTION TO WORLD MUSIC”
BY THE SOUTH AUSTRALIAN FOLK AWARDS (3 May 2000).
